Sobriety Chat: Paddy

June 11th, 2024 Interviews

Paddy Gower is a beloved son and friend, award winning broadcaster and journalist, he’s a keen cyclist… and he is sober. In this chat, Paddy talks about getting through his recent redundancy news without drinking, adjusting to socialising sober, the decision he’s made to be different, and the joy of hangover free mornings.

Catch Paddy’s documentary about quitting drinking here, and the recording of his discussion about alcohol with Mrs D and Guyon Espiner (from the Wānaka Arts Festival) is here.
