At Living Sober, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Statement outlines our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you visit our website.

Information we collect:

Non-personal information

When you visit our website, we may collect non-personal information about you, including:

Personal information

We only collect personal information when it is voluntarily provided by you. For accessing our blog content, no personal information is required. However, if you choose to become a member of our community, we will collect your email address and a username to create your account. You have the option to add a profile image and description, but these are not required. We do not require any other personal information for membership. 

Use of personal information:

  • Your email address is used for the purpose of creating and managing your membership account.
  • We may also use your email address to communicate with you regarding important updates or announcements related to our community.

Voluntarily submitting personal information

When you submit information on our website, such as an image, comment, post, application or submission it becomes publicly available unless otherwise stated. Consider not sharing personally identifiable information if it could be seen by others you did not intend.

We do not recognise Do Not Track signals

Data Deletion

You have the right to request any data held on you be deleted. If you would like Living Sober to delete any personal information stored about you, please email admin@livingsober.org.nz with your email address and Living Sober username or delete your own account via your profile.
