Tropical Slushie Iced Tea

March 18th, 2022 Drink of the Week

frothy tea drink

This is a delicious tea-based drink, with added depth from adding fresh fruit. You could use any sort of herbal tea but I recommend finding some with tropical flavours.

Ingredients:

4 herbal tea bags (I used Peach & Mango)
600ml coconut water (or plain water is fine)
1 cup chopped pineapple
1 cup chopped rockmelon
1 tsp fresh grated ginger
1 tray of ice cubes

Method:

Infuse the teabags in the water for 10mins or more.
Place the ice, fruit and ginger into a blender.
Pour over the infused water and blitz thoroughly.
Serve in a glass with fresh fruit to garnish.

Enjoy!
