Orange & Rosewater Sparkle

December 27th, 2018 Drink of the Week

This drink has a simple base but the addition of rosewater makes it just a little bit fancy! Be careful not to add too much rosewater or it’ll end up tasting like perfume. To ‘muddle’ the mint leaves & release the aroma slap them together between the palms of your hands or smash them a little with a pestle or the back of a spoon.

Ingredients:

2 cups orange juice (I juiced 4 oranges)
2 cups soda water
1/4 cup mint leaves
1/2 tsp rosewater

Method:

Muddle the mint leaves and put them in a serving jug.
Add the orange juice, soda water and rosewater.
Mix together.
Pour into glasses (straining the liquid through a mini sieve if need be).
Add ice if you like.

Enjoy!

My inner critic...

Mrs D's Blog

There’s so much talk in sobriety about us all learning to take care of ourselves (so often a foreign concept to us boozers), be kind to ourselves, nurture ourselves.

Sober Story: Lou

Interviews

"I was my harshest critic. Drinking allowed me to stay stuck in that place and stopping meant liberation from my own self-shaming behaviour."
