
At this strange time of a lot of home-based isolation, what we need is lovely soothing and warming drinks. Even if we're not sick brews like this can work beautifully to make us feel cared for.
Ingredients:
1 green or black teabag (flavoured is fine)
Juice of half a lemon
One large orange wedge studded with whole cloves
1 tbsp honey
Pinch of cinnamon
Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
Method:
First brew your tea in a large mug or cup
Add the lemon juice, orange wedge, honey, cinnamon and cayenne (if using)
Drink piping hot for maximum benefit
Enjoy!
Great taste with the cloves making it, looked great in my favourite hand made wine glasses.
