
I love, love, love this smoothie! It's great for breakfast or for an afternoon snack. Sweetened by dates and with a lovely hint of spice from the cinnamon. You can use fresh or frozen bananas.
Ingredients:
2 bananas
5-6 dates (medjool or normal)
1/3 cup almonds
1 tsp cinnamon
2 cups milk of your choice
A couple of ice cubes (optional)
Method:
Roughly chop the dates and almonds.
Place all ingredients int a blender or food processor and blitz until smooth.
Pour into glasses.
Enjoy!
