June 11th, 2015 Drink of the Week
Here’s another delicious recipe from my friend David who runs Peppermill Cafe in Porirua.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice
Soda water
Ice
Lemon wedges
Method:
* Combine the sugar and lemon juice in a small bowl and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
* For each drink put 1/4 cup of this sugary lemon mixture into a tall glass and top with ice, soda water and a wedge of fresh sliced lemon.
Enjoy!

I’ve been saying for many years that anyone who digs deep to get rid of alcohol and learn to live sober is incredibly brave and amazing.
