October 7th, 2016 Drink of the Week
Delicious goodness for a breakfast treat or afternoon refresher. You could use tap water in place of coconut water or even some sort of milk for a creamier version. Even my 7-year-old liked this and he is FUSSY!
Ingredients (quantities are only a guide):
Handful of spinach or kale
1/2 – 3/4 cup fresh chopped pineapple (or tinned)
1 1/2 cups coconut water
1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
Squeeze lemon juice
Method:
Place all ingredients into a blender or nutra bullet/ninja thingy
Blitz until smooth
Pour into a tall glass
Enjoy!

"I learned that I’m a very anxious person! I’d always been a bit highly-strung, but I suppose all the booze helped to mask how deep that really went."

"I wasn’t a daily drinker, but I was a binge drinker and my drinking was usually accompanied with drug use, as well. The last months of my drinking/substance use were very chaotic."
