Ginger and Mint Punch

February 4th, 2019 Drink of the Week

This is a great drink if you’re hosting friends or have family over. The quantities listed here make a good full jug’s worth. I love the tartness of the grapefruit mixed with the sweet ginger ale.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup sugar (or 1/4 cup)
1 cup water
6 mint leaves
1 litre grapefruit juice
500ml bottle ginger ale
Ice cubes
Lemon slices
Mint leaves

Method:

Place sugar, water and mint leaves into a saucepan

Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar has dissolved

Set aside until cold

Combine syrup with grapefruit juice

Just before serving, add ginger ale & ice cubes

Garnish with slices of lemon & mint leaves

Enjoy!

Am I a boring sober loser?

Mrs D's Blog

That’s our biggest fear when we quit drinking isn’t it … that other people are going to think we are boring sober losers who are to be avoided at all costs.
