Frozen Berry Iced Tea

October 20th, 2022 Drink of the Week

red drink with mint

This is very delicious, I love tea-based drinks and making it with frozen berries gives it a lovely frosty edge. You make your iced tea by brewing it as normal (in a large mug), removing the tea bag after 5 minutes and leaving it to go cold.

Ingredients (per person):

60ml iced tea (English Breakfast or similar)
15ml peach or mango puree (can actually use the baby food stuff)
30ml lime or lemon juice
1 Tbsp frozen berries
1 good pinch of cinnamon

Method:

First brew a mug of tea and let it cool
Combine the tea with all the other ingredients in a cocktail shaker or large jar with a lid
Shake hard for at least 20 seconds (you want the berries to smoosh up)
Pour into a tumbler and garnish with fresh mint

Enjoy!
