November 19th, 2014 Drink of the Week
It’s a miracle! Well, not exactly .. but all the ingredients in this infused water help you to flush out toxins and feel full.
Fill a water bottle or jug with 6 cups of water. Add;
2 tbsp grated fresh ginger plus a few strips of the peel
1 lemon thinly sliced
A big chunk of cucumber thinly sliced
1/2 cup of mint leaves torn up/bruised
Leave in the fridge for at least 5 hours before drinking. You could probably top up the water once to get more out of the added ingredients.
Enjoy!
This is delicious – healthy, and warming for these cold winter mornings we’re experiencing in New Zealand right now.
