February 5th, 2022 Drink of the Week
This is the kind of drink I mostly feel like drinking if I’m out at an event. It’s simple and fresh without being too sweet. You can substitute the lime juice for lemon if need be.
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (approx 2-3 limes)
1/2 cup fresh mint leaves, torn up a little
1 tbsp sweetener (sugar, maple syrup, honey, agave – optional)
Soda water
Ice cubes
Mix the first three ingredients together in a jug.
Pour a big slosh of this mixture into a large glass.
Top with ice cubes and soda water.
Enjoy!
I think a big part of the reason I’ve never picked up a drink since I made the decision to stop doing that is that from Day One I put on my Sober Skin and left it there.

I think one thing that really helps in early sobriety is to bring a healthy level of curious, upbeat energy to the entire process.

Hardly a recipe but delicious nonetheless and basically a party in a glass if you add a few decorations.
