January 12th, 2024 Drink of the Week
There are a few steps to go through in making this drink but it’s pretty simple and very refreshing. Delicious in fact!
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
6 ice cubes
Handful fresh mint leaves
Soda water
Fresh lime or lemon
* Make a simple syrup by warming 1/2 cup sugar with 1 cup water until the sugar has dissolved. Let cool.
* Muddle the icecubes and mint together
* Put the minty ice cubes in a tall glass with 1/4 cup of simple syrup & juice of half a lime/lemon.
* Top with soda water.
* Garnish with a slice of lime/lemon.
Enjoy!
