Party Punches

two drinks full of fresh fruit
These two non-alcoholic punches were on offer at a cocktail party I went to last weekend, and they were delicious! We made them using Barker's of Geraldine fruit syrups, but you could choose any good quality fruit syrups or cordials. It's vital to fill the bowls with lots of freshly sliced fruit and ice!

Limolicious Punch:

Fill a large punch bowl with;
1 x 710ml bottle Barkers 'Squeezed Limes with Elderflower' fruit syrup (or similar)
4 x 1.5 litre bottles fizzy water
4 lemons sliced thinly
1 small cucumber sliced thinly
Large handful mint leaves
Loads of ice

Tonicberry Punch:

Fill a large punch bowl with;
1 x 500ml bottle Barkers 'Squeezed Redcurrants with Cranberry & Pomegranate' fruit syrup (or similar)
4 x 1.5 litre bottles tonic water
4 oranges thinly sliced
Loads of ice

Enjoy!

    I have an ex that put vodka into my tea when I wasn’t looking, because my sober date was before his. Luckily I detected it right away, but I am also on probation, so that could have caused a failed test as well! One of the many reasons he is an ex!

    I am sure it’s great to enjoy non-al punches, but, sadly, I’ve been deceived by tricksters who – for reasons I don’t understand – spike the punch. Maybe they seek to announce that alcohol is not a problem? Sort of self-denial? Anyway, I tend to avoid punches and stay with water. Still, not sparkling. Am I paranoid or cautious?
