The Best Lemonade...

August 13th, 2015 Drink of the Week 3 comments

… as made by my 10-year-old son! His method is incredibly simple, yet the drink is delicious – nicely tart from the lemons and not too sweet. His brothers and cousins all agreed and gobbled it up happily! This is his recipe in his words…

Ingredients:
5 lemons
2 tbsp sugar
Approx 750ml soda water

Method:
* Juice the lemons and pour the liquid into a jug
* Add the soda water
* Then add the sugar and stir thoroughly (it makes a cool chemical reaction when the sugar is dropped into the soda water)

Enjoy!

Sober Story: Kelly

"Physically I was bloated, exhausted and felt like crap for a few weeks. Then slowly I began feeling better every day and I would say by 90 days I started feeling like a new woman."

Working my recovery....

Mrs D's Blog

Today is day 1630 of sobriety for me and this is proving an interesting time for me right now… The hard work of early sobriety is over, not drinking is normal and therefore the pride and joy from being a non-drinker is also a bit diminished (still there but not so acute).
