November 2nd, 2024 Drink of the Week
I’ve made no secret of the fact that I love chamomile tea, I drink a delicious mug of it every night before bed. Well, this is a delightful and very easy way to get the relaxing, fresh chamomile vibe but with the added hints of lemon and honey – plus the scent of roses! I bought my rose petals from a deli but you could dry them yourselves from the garden.
1 mug chamomile tea
1 tsp honey
1 tbsp lemon juice
Rose petals
Brew a mug of chamomile tea and let it cool to room temperature.
Pour the tea into a jar with a lid (or cocktail shaker) and add the honey and lemon juice.
Shake until the honey has dissolved.
Pour into your glass and top with the rose petals.
Enjoy!
“I used to be tightly wound, and used alcohol and isolation to cope with my feelings of overwhelm.” ======== ========= Michelle: I’m pretty cool about it honestly, but that’s only because my husband and I can still work remotely.

"The note was from my wife and it simply stated: “Okay. I think we have tried this limiting the drinking. It’s not working. You need to come up with a plan. It’s now your choice, me or the booze.”"
