Pink Panther

March 21st, 2019 Drink of the Week

This week I felt like making a ridiculously decadent and frivolous drink – so I did! Was fun getting the cocktail shaker out – if you don’t have one use a large jar with a lid.

Ingredients (approx):
1/2 cup fresh strawberries (hulled)
1/4 cup of water
4-5 ice cubes
1 cup pineapple juice
4-5 tbsp whipped cream

* First puree the strawberries in a blender with the water
* Pour the liquid strawberry mixture into a cocktail shaker and add the ice, pineapple juice and 4 tbsp whipped cream
* Shake like crazy!
* Pour into martini glasses and top with a little more whipped cream

My sober pandemic: Michelle

“I used to be tightly wound, and used alcohol and isolation to cope with my feelings of overwhelm.” ======== ========= Michelle: I’m pretty cool about it honestly, but that’s only because my husband and I can still work remotely.

I’m not sure that you can just stop drinking alcohol and make no other changes or do no other ‘work’ on yourself and expect to become happily sober.
