Hooray! If you are reading this you are visiting us on our brand new home - a modern and robust platform that we have recently migrated to. Welcome! Below are some notes to help you find your way around.
All blog posts and articles are now all found under the 'Articles' tab, and within that space are different categories. You can either view all articles in the order of the last date published, or filter them by category. The 'Interviews' category incorporates all the Sober Stories, Sobriety Chats, and Ask An Expert posts. The 'Guest Post' category features posts written by a variety of writers - people who are sober or sharing their expertise. The 'Mrs D's Blog' category is for articles written by me, Lotta (a.k.a Mrs D) and the 'Drink of the Week' category is for non-alcoholic drink recipes.
The previous three Toolbox pages of 'Reading Material', 'Managing Feelings', and 'Inspirational Quotes' have been combined into a new 'Sober Resources' toolbox. The other three Toolboxes are 'Getting Through Wine O'Clock', 'Sober Treats', and 'Socialising Sober'. While each Sober Toolbox page feature a few relevant articles, they are predominantly for tips and ideas left by visitors and members of this site. Please add your own thoughts and ideas to these Toolboxes!
The Members Feed (our chat room for registered members) is exactly the same as it was before with uncluttered functionality, a focus on the written word, and none of the usual social media tools (e.g. a ‘like’ button, photo sharing capability). This is because the simplicity of Members Feed has always worked so well to keep us all connected, engaged, equal, and united in what we focus on here, which is our relationship with alcohol. Facebook we are not!
As always, if you encounter any problems or have any questions, contact the team at admin@livingsober.org.nz We are here for you.
