Tropical Slushie Iced Tea

I found this recipe on the Healtheries website and it is delish! Hope they don’t mind me pinching it to use here. It’s a really tasty and refreshing drink, also just guzzled by the 5 boys I have here today. You could probably use any sort of herbal tea but I did go and buy Healtheries Peach and Mango Iced Tea Bags.

4 herbal tea bags
600ml water or coconut water
1 cup chopped pineapple
1 cup chopped rockmelon
1 tsp fresh grated ginger
1 tray of ice cubes

Infuse the teabags in the water for 10mins or more.
Place ice into a blender, then fruit and ginger.
Pour over the infused water and blitz until it has turned to slush.

I have gpund Phonix Infused Sparkling Mineral Waters to be lovely. I and my DH have a wone glass a night. $3 to $4 for a bottle from Countdown New Zealand.

It is located near the grapejuice but nicer and not so sugary.
