Greetings all, Monday morning, my least favorite day of the week, hope you all had a nice Easter,
Just realized I’m 2 years AF. Today, I cannot believe it! The time has just flown by, Hey @Mari135, I think we are together on this
Aren’t we? Hope you are enjoying the fine weather, for a change, Lots of love….
Greetings All, weekend on the horizon, and happy Easter! @Liberty, I remember those bad old days too, but of course we don’t do that anymore.
The back yard is a soggy mess, I have some grand plans but too wet to do anything yet, come on sunshine,. Wishing you all a lovely weekend, Lots of love….
Lovely to see you this morning @thor. The weather has been very busy this year, right? We have had beautiful weather this week, but storms are a brewin’! My husband is having a rough go right now as he developed a cruel respiratory infection and along with dialysis has been so weak. My son flew in from California to help out and keep him…[Read more]
Good morning all. Thor we’re in the same boat. Lots of yard work to be done, especially planting new trees and shrubs in the back yard. It’s still too wet and soggy to do anything. My husband is secretly relieved. 😊
Greetings All, Saturday morning,. Things are just humming along, Mrs Thor’s brother had one lung removed due to cancer, he is home now and seems
To be doing pretty well considering, Sounds like we have another storm coming tomorrow, I could really use some sunshine, Just want to shout out to the
Morning crew, Not a day goes by that I d…[Read more]
Nice to hear from you Thor, you spread your own style of sunshine when you show up. Spring is inevitable, I think. Woke up to an inch of snow that was on everything but the streets and sidewalks the other day, and I had to think that’s the way snow should be. Very tidy. @mari seems to be the most regular of the old morning crew; I don’t think…[Read more]
Greetings All, Sunday morning, Just came back from Iowa, we stayed with Mrs Thor’s brother who has been diagnosed with lung cancer , I did some plumbing
Work on his house and we brought him a treadmill and spinning bike to keep his strength up, We are praying for a good outcome, Just want to shout out

Thor songood to hear from you. I’m sorry about your BIL. I hope the prognosis is good. Nice job pushing through your trigger. The warmer temps I know are a big trigger for me. As you say, “we don’t do that anymore.” Shields up. 🙂
Icy and snowy here but thinking plants for my office and pussy willows for the living room. Hope today is easier and you and Mrs Thor are comforting each other. Just for today right buddy? xx thinking of you both and sending out good vibes to you for healing. @Thor
Greetings All, it has been a tough month, Mrs Thor,s Brother has been diagnosed with lung cancer, you may remember that we lost her sister
Last year to the same disease,. Could really use some sunshine. Anyway, Please know, that I Love you guys and I’m still around, life just

I am so sorry to hear that, @thor. I lost my sister and best friend within a year of each other. Two losses so close together left me feeling pretty empty. These words comforted me, “God is not in the event, He is in the response to the event.” Hugs to Mrs. Thor.
Hi @thor, that’s an awful blow. My heart goes out to you both. I am happy you are still reading and know we are here. There is scientific evidence that people that are prayed for or sent loving vibrations experience more positive outcomes, knowing that, I am going to send you out love and peace this morning. I hope @MrsThor feels comforted…[Read more]
Greetings All, I just want to let you know that all is well, I really got away from posting this month, not sure why, it’s weird how
Its so easy to get out of the habit, I haven’t been misbehaving, but have felt a little bit detached from the regular feed back that
I get from you, Its easy to forget how desperate I was to get free, now…[Read more]
Hi @Thor yes that’s partly why I stay around, and the other part is that some of these people here know more about me, my thoughts and feelings, than most people in my real life. I love the connection. Although I too have been here less of late, and understand that feeling of detachment from here, with the site getting so big and all. It’s nice to…[Read more]
Greetings All,. Well we survived the Polar Vortex, I have been working long hours and over the weekend as well,. Lots of frozen pipes and fan coils,
Even my well at home froze but no damage thankfully, I hope all is well in your world, 40 degrees today, and the snow is melting, lots of Love
To the morning crew, happy monday!
What a powerful force ‘mother nature’ is – watching our national news as I read this… polar vortex, epic flooding and fires from drought conditions – pleased that you are now on the other side of the extreme climate conditions in your part of the world @thor.
Heck. Sounds wild. I have never been in such temperatures, nothing less than… mmm I wonder, -5 perhaps? We are heading into a heatwave sent by Australia. I don’t do at all well in heat, so my crazy busy schedule looks worrying. 🙁 The media was warning people not to drink as it can be so dehydrating. Nice to be a step or 50 ahead 😉
Good morning to you Thor!! Always a wee bit of a guilty pleasure to beat Thor-o-clock…looks like today I did. Lol. Drive safe and safe working….they closed a few schools down here…not mine….of course. Sigh. 🙂
Greetings All, Thank you so much for all the great input on sugar addiction, Mrs Thor thanks you! Some great ideas.
Nothing really new but just chugging along on the sober train, get on board!! Lots of love..
