Today is day 415 of sobriety – it is also my birthday. Wow, where has the time gone (for both sobriety and age). I wouldn’t have it any other way today. I am blessed beyond and each day I wake up and can remember yesterday and plan for tomorrow!! Blessings to all!!
Hiya @Pixie2017! Congrats on 92 days! I’ve started to make dark chocolate truffles, so good and easy. I read more now, have begun meditating, which totally helps in difficult situations to help me not react, and I have my ongoing project of learning Spanish. : )
@Pixie2017 Congrats on 92 days! I recently joined a sign language class in the evenings. I always wanted to learn but was always too busy drinking . I never went out at night and now I search for things to do. A sober life is a good life!
Well..I picked up an upcycling obsession, then bought a house and started a remodelling obsession..and I try to fit my job in there somewhere. Then..also went through pretty much every book about getting sober, which led me here:). I suspect you will soon be wishing you had some down time:).
I am at day 57 – woo hoo. It is getting easier all the time for me. The first 30 days were the worst. Still have a hard time thinking of the amount of alcohol I drank (so ridiculous to me now) and the time I have lost because of it. Thankful for this site and the information and help it is giving.
