Oh gawd we’ve had some utterly devastating news here .. horrendous. I won’t share the details to protect others privacy but the whole family is rocked and I am crying many tears. Sadness and grief are just awful emotions but we can’t escape them and I will be feeling them in all their awful glory over the next few weeks. Grateful for all my loved ones, grateful to be alive and so, so grateful to be sober. Hug your loved ones tight xxx
oxoxoxox I am so sorry about whatever may be happening right now. ooxoxox Words don’t really help when it gets that serious I think…so just know we love you and think of you and your family…..Your body will guide you through this grief and the suffering. ooxoxooxox
Thanks everyone.. sorry I have to be so cryptic, I will open up later. This is the big tough stuff of life though. I would say it’s a real test of my sobriety but it’s not. I am rock solid in my not drinking. The last thing I want to be doing right now is numbing my emotions. Sad is exactly how I should be feeling, and I’m grateful to be fully alive to all the experiences that life is giving me. We can’t avoid emotional pain, it’s the price we pay for love. Hugs to all and TODAY IS A FUCKING GREAT DAY TO BE SOBER! x
@mrs-d you are so right. I’m sending prayers and positive vibes to you and yours. My Dad is terminal and found out today that he is accepting he may just have a few months. It is hard and painful but I don’t want to numb through it either. I hope that whatever has happened with you all that the damages aren’t too great. xoxoxox
