Start date 8/2/2014 At any stage I can choose to drink, but with that choice comes choosing all that come with it, so for today I choose not to drink. Nobody regretted ever being sober. :-)
"...It wasn’t good and it wasn’t bad. It was what it was, and it is just that. In the space of letting go, she let it all be. A small smile came over her face. A light breeze blew through her. And the sun and the moon shone forevermore. ~Rev. Safire Rose. :
Food wise, back to day one, ate a packet of marshmallow Easter eggs last night and when I got home some mixed nuts. Wasn’t hungry but ate anyway. I had gone 30 days without binging on chocolate or sweets. Feeling anxious about a few things. So needed to make some further changes. Progress is progress no matter what 1952 days sober.
Oh dear, me too – sugar, have resisted so easily whilst on keto, but the winter, exhaustion, a nasty bully at work – resolve fades away. Back to planning. A lovely keto treat with me today, so hopefully avoid all the temptations of colleagues baking wonderful Friday morning teas. Crazy habit in some workplaces. Reveals our culture of bad fatty sugar laden highly processed carbs uggghhh, but love 🙁 🙁 🙁
Those freakin marshmallow Easter eggs, always a devastating sugar binge trigger!! 1952 days is pretty awesome; in 110 days I’ll be at half your number. It’s nice having another 100 be a given, when that first couple of hundred seemed like such a dream. Day 921.
