I would like to stop drinking alcohol for a number of reasons. It changes my personality, I feel lousy the following day, and need a drink to feel better etc, my thinking can be a bit confused the following day. I have a family history of alcohol dependency and I need to get off the slippery slope.
Day 11 AF. Have to say I am very happy to have got here, and a little surprised! I have launched myself into various U Tube’s etc looking up addiction/alcohol generally, and for me “Surfing the Urge” is the mind set that works the best. The whole idea of pausing, and observing the urge for what it is makes sense to me, anyway. I am posting this in case others are not aware of it and want to look it up. Google will find it for you.
